Who We Are
PT Nusantara Indah Cemerlang ("NIC" or the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") is a private limited company that offers supply chain management solutions for the mining industry based in Indonesia, a major coal producing country.
NIC offers barging logistics, ship rental, port management, industrial shipping and freight management services for the energy and mineral resources industry. We provide solutions that meets the traditional and complex needs of our customers, with a strong team of industry experts to provide the best solutions.
NIC is distinguished by our strong fleet of over 90 barge armadas, and 2000+ ships with a total capacity of over 8,000 ton/armada/trip; an annual delivery capacity of over 55,000,000 tons of cargo per year; and a strong commitment to service for our clients and development of our talents.

Legality
Established in Central Jakarta as PT Nusantara Indah Cemerlang in accordance to articles of association numbered 135, dated 27th May 2013 made in the presence of Notary Hanny Gunawan, S.H. as approved by the ministry of law and human rights of Indonesia, in accordance to decision letter dated 13th December 2013 number AHU-0114801.AH.01.09. Year 2013.
Leadership
Budi Setiawan - President Director
He is Indonesia citizen who has 25 years of experience in coal industry from mining to marine. Now he serves as President Director in the Company and Chief Operational Officer for its subsidiaries. He is trusted to manage and direct the entire operational processes of coal transhipment from port to mother vessel. Previously, he has served as procurement, marketing and trading general manager in the industry for almost 20 years.
Ika Bethari - Director
Graduated from Economic Faculty of Indonesia, she serves as the Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. She also serves as the President Director and Chief Financial Officer of Company' subsidiary. She has more than 8 years of experience in marine and sea logistic industry. From 2010-2016 she served as CFO, Director of Strategy & Corporate Plan, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer of PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk. Joined Indika Energy from 2008-2010, she was trusted with several responsibilities amongst other are, as a Member of Risk Management Committee of PT Petrosea Tbk (2008-2011) and Senior Vice President Corporate Planning of PT Indika Energy Tbk (2008-2010). Previous to joining Indika Energy Group, she served on the Audit Committee of PT PP London Sumatera Tbk (2005-2010), Vice President Risk Management and Corporate Control of PT Surya Citra Televisi and PT Surya Citra Media Tbk ( 2006-2008), Chief Audit Executive and Vice President Research and Development of PT Surya Citra Televisi ( 2005-2006), Independent Commissioner and Chairman of Committee Audit of PT Courts Indonesia Tbk (2004-2006), Senior Manager Business Risk Consulting at Ernst & Young, Jakarta (2001-2004), Senior Manager Global Risk Consulting Management Solutions of Price Waterhouse Coopers, Jakarta (1998-2001), Manager Business Advisory and Assurance at Price Waterhouse, Australia (1996-1997), Audit Supervisor at Prasetio Utomo, Arthur Andersen (1993-1996). Ika was awarded as 2014 Best CFO by SWA Magazine and 2004 Woman Executive by Dewi Magazine.
Yoel Setiawan
Indonesian citizen, born on September 1979. He graduated from Trisakti School of Management. He has experience as Finance Manager in several groups in Indonesia as well as Chief Financial Officer at Andalan Group. He presently serves as the Director of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Captain Pappu Sastry
As a Master Mariner with 14 years of experience at sea, Capt. Sastry has gained experience and has comprehensive knowledge of various types of ships. He has developed technical and commercial businesses, managing offices around the world. He has initiated and executed contracts, ventures and projects with a number of investors, traders and ship owners. He has more than a decade of experience as MD/CEO of Shipping outfits in Hong Kong and Malaysia. He was listed as one of the "Top 50 Leaders for Next Generation" in LIoyd's List magazine in 2015. He is an Alumni of the Singapore Institute of Management and University of Manchester/ Manchester Business School.
